The first boutique hotel of the HOUSE collection, the poet's house hotel, is set to open in the next spring.

The management of this unique boutique hotel group is aiming to create a portfolio of "boutique house hotels" with no more than 45 bedrooms.

Located in the east of England, in the centre of Ely, Cambridgeshire, the first property "the poet's house hotel" is a newly renovated three-story property with 21 individually designed bedrooms combing original features with modern fixtures.

It also includes a all-day 60 cover restaurant and a function room for 100 guests.

Also according to the management, the second property of this group is going to be open later next year.

A boutique luxury townhouse hotel, the Wellesley, is set to open in December 2012. With its perfect location in center London (Knightsbridge), The Wellesley offers its valued guests 29 Suites, 7 Executive Doubles and The Wellesley Suite, the Cigar Lounge and Terrace with world-leading cigar collection, The Crystal Bar and The Oval Restaurant.
The 6th and 7th floor will house a decadent penthouse suite with incredible views over Hyde Park, a boardroom, four bedrooms and state-of-the-art technology. 

The Cigar Lounge with its private heated cigar terrace will aim to offer one of the world's largest collections of cigars (sold on a stick-by-stick basis), and the Crystal bar will feature a specialist Whiskey and Cognac Wall alongside and extensive menu of fine wines, spirits and cocktails.

Although I haven't found much information on its website regarding guest service and room sizes, I am very sure that the Wellesley will become a great choice of place to stay for business travelers and discerning individuals.

Rosewood hotels & Resorts has started its Asia expansion plan. The Rosewood Phuket will be the second Rosewood property in Asia following Rosewood Beijing’s summer 2013 opening. The Phuket resort, which will include 87 villas, 20 residences and six homes, will be located on the 1,968-foot Emerald Bay beachfront in Western Phuket.

The resort will be designed to integrate organically into the hillside forest surroundings with an environmentally sensitive, contemporary architectural style showcasing the location’s striking natural attributes.

Another good news for people who want to check out the new concept hotel brand ME by Meliá, the ME London will open its door onNovember 1st. 

ME by Meliá is a new concept for hotels where contemporary design, the latest technology, international cuisine, visual experiences and cutting edge music all come together to create a stimulating atmosphere.

Situated in Marconi House, the original London home of BBC radio, ME London offers a luxe collection of 157 rooms, including 16 suites, and ultra-luxurious Suite ME and a two floor penthouse in the turret of the building.

The best part is, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the river and westminster skyline on the top floor, where it is the hotel's rooftop terrace with a sky bar.

Marriott international just opened its newest luxury brand JW Marriott in Peru, at the gateway of Machu Picchu.

This new 153 luxury hotel is situated at an altitude of 11,154 feet above sea level, which is so far the company's highest-altitude hotel. On top of that, the JW Cusco will be the first Marriott property to have an in-room supplemental oxygen system to alleviate altitude adjustments. 

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced a new milestone last week with the opening of Sheraton Macao Hotel consisting of two sleek towers that located at the Cotai central, Macau. The first phase of opening is the Sheraton Macao Hotel and its Sheraton Sky Tower, with 1829 rooms.

The Sheraton Sky Tower includes the world’s largest Sheraton Club Lounge, a main ballroom with a size larger than 11 basketball courts, meeting space with over 160,000 square feet, three signature restaurants, and three outdoor pools with poolside cafes. 

The hotel’s second tower, the Sheraton Earth Tower, will open early next year. It will offer an additional 2067 rooms, as well as two more outdoor pools with one with the stunning views of the coati strip.

At nearly 4000 rooms, Sheraton Macao Hotel, Cotai Central is going to be the largest hotel in Starwood’s global portfolio and the biggest hotel to open in Macau.

Soon in November this year, we will anticipate another great opening of the new InterContinental in Westminster. This hotel will feature 256 rooms, which also includes 44 luxury suites and a penthouse. This establishment for sure will become a buzzing destination not only for hotel stayers, but also a great spot for meeting for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

InterContinental London Westminster joins InterContinental London Park Lane as the second InterContinental property in London.
